    Yesterday was that kind of gym day — the kind that makes you feel alive.

    I loaded up the bar for flat bench press, pushing through heavy sets and maxing out at 45 kg. My chest was toast, my arms shaky, and honestly? It felt amazing. There’s a different kind of clarity you get when you go heavy and finish strong.

    But here’s the truth — the rest of the day didn’t follow some flawless fitness plan.

    I had a 6-inch Peri Peri Chicken Subway.
    A boiled egg.
    A fried egg too.
    And overall… yeah, I took it easy on the clean eating.

    And you know what?
    That’s fine.

    Because here’s the mindset I’m sticking to:


    Fitness is about consistency, not perfection.

    One lenient meal — or even one lenient day — doesn’t wipe out the effort you put in at the gym. What does slow you down is guilt. That guilt spiral where you think, “Well, I already messed up today, might as well go all in on junk.

    ”Don’t do that. Don’t let a few bites turn into a backward mindset.

    Progress isn’t linear.

    It’s built from showing up, lifting heavy, eating well most of the time, and allowing yourself space to live a little.

    Here’s how I see it:

    • Crushed chest day? That’s growth.
    • Got 100g+ of protein in through your meals? Still a win.
    • Enjoyed something spicy, flavorful, and satisfying? That’s mental fuel too.
